Pedro Barbadillo

Spanish director and producer Pedro Barbadillo has worked in the film industry for over 30 years. He has specialized in documentaries that focus on gripping narratives and personal stories that reflect the human condition. Of great interest was the 2012 film The Cost of Sushi which looked at the overfishing of sushi and the effect on the environment, and the 2009 film Low Carbon: The Economics of Climate Change, both of which were critically acclaimed. Barbadillo has established himself as one of Spain’s most acclaimed documentary directors and producers, and he has also taught workshops and seminars and been a director of the Mallorca Film Commission.
